Tete a tete

Tete a tete

Sometimes I just don't want to be around people. I love the quiet mornings, the lazy summer afternoon, and the peaceful arrival of a summer evening. I use this time to regenerate, to see from a renewed perspective. It gives me chance to allow my natural creativity to emerge.

Take any item. A shoe, a flower, a food item. Look at it. Not simply and superficially, but really look at it. Does it have a texture? Does it have unique characteristices, patterns, etc? Then look at it in the environment. Where does one usually see the item? Why? Where might one seldom see the item? Why?

Now you are ready. Play with it. Talk to it. Move it. Re-position it. Does it make sense. Is it contextual? Is it absurd? Why?

Have fun! Post it here with a link so I can see it. Thanks!

Hot Sam's

Something is Fishy

I saw this from a distance and simply turned and captured this.  I was not working with this group, but ever so often I would stop what I was doing and wander around to see the creativity of the photographers at work.

The trek was part of the TCPG annual visit to Hot Sam's.  See the images of many of the photographers here:  Meetup Hot Sam's 2011

Imagine your Senior Portrait or Engagement Portrait session here:

I can only tell you that around every corner there was another surprise.  Another choice location for fun and fantasy.

The good people that run the place gave us the run of the outfit.  Parking is great and even if the weather was not great outdoors you could capture some fantastic scenery inside.

Lakeville, just off 35W south.  You know you are there when you see the big guitar from the road.
